The Impulse Tool makes use of Unreal’s new Quick Render feature, and comes with a setting asset for making a quick render of your dance sequence into an MP4 or MOV file.
If you are working in an Impulse sample project, it should be configured to use the Impulse quick render settings asset (MRG_QuickMP4 or MRG_QuickMOV). If your render generates a bunch of jpeg files instead, then the project is still using the default rendering settings from unreal. To change this:
1 - click the 3 dots next to the button to the left of the green play button to open the render menu

2 - Make sure it is set to use quick render instead of movie render queue, use viewport camera in sequence, and the configuration is set to the asset that comes with the Impulse plugin (MRG_QuickMP4 or MRG_QuickMOV)

3 - If it shows DefaultQuickRenderGraph as the configuration instead of settings asset in the plugin (MRG_QuickMP4 or MRG_QuickMOV), click the quick render settings at the bottom of the dropdown menu

Your Quick Rendering should now work as expected! When starting a render from the button at the bottom of the Impulse tool, it will open a preview render as it renders your dance and then finished video file when it is done!
